Hosting a business-critical application requires more than provisioning resources. Monitoring, recovery, incident handling, change coordination and clear responsibilities determine how the service performs over time.
Managed Azure hosting is available for Sitefinity, Umbraco and custom .NET applications. Avalon is not a prerequisite.
Monitor the agreed platform components and establish a route for investigation and response.
Use managed backups and agreed recovery procedures suited to the contracted service.
Define what Avion manages, how events are handled and where customer or supplier responsibilities begin.
Operate the agreed Azure resources and platform configuration within the contracted scope.
Observe agreed availability and operational signals, with defined triage and escalation paths.
Manage agreed backup processes and retention settings for in-scope components.
Investigate, coordinate and communicate in-scope operational incidents according to agreed procedures.
Plan infrastructure and application changes with appropriate controls and operational awareness.
Provide the operational reporting and review cadence defined in the service agreement.
Review the application, Azure environment, dependencies, risks and current operations.
Agree scope, responsibilities, monitoring, backup and incident arrangements.
Implement the agreed controls, validate access and complete operational handover.
Run, review and improve the service under the contracted arrangement.
Access, monitoring, backups, incident response and change processes are governed through the agreed operating model. Avion’s security and assurance evidence can support customer review, subject to applicable confidentiality requirements.
